Andre is one of the Founding partners of Key Engineering Solutions, delivering optimisation for automation, process control, and instrumentation.

With two Bachelor degrees from the University of Western Australia in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, in conjunction with many years working for BHP, Andre is an expert Process Control Engineer and now a business owner. The creation of Key Engineering Solutions has allowed Andre to share his extensive knowledge in process control and create a company founded on quick, efficient, and quantifiable results.

Andre’s ultimate goals for the future of Key Engineering Solutions is to be known as a company with impeccable standards, both professionally and ethically, ensuring every client receives maximum exceptional service.

Wilson’s exceptional energy and passion for improvement can only be described as infectious.

As a process control engineer from the Universidad Industrial de Santander in Colombia, he has worked in various sectors in both his native Colombia and his new home, here in Australia.

Fernando has more than 20 years of resource experience in a range of disciplines i.e. Port, Rail, fixed plant, processing plants, operations and maintenance, in different commodities like Iro Ore, Lithium, Bauxite in Western Australia and Brazil.

Fernando has held positions in both Mining & Mineral Engineer roles and Senior Leadership roles with large resource companies.

As a senior leader in the resource business, Fernando prides himself on safe operations and a strong focus on operational discipline with his forte being in business improvement and creating initiatives to turn around safety and production challenges into successful business models.

Colette is a highly organized, diligent, and driven Process Control Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering. She consistently goes above and beyond expectations, demonstrating a strong commitment to excellence and delivering results with a positive, can-do attitude. A skilled communicator and active listener, Colette excels in building strong working relationships, fostering collaboration, and providing valuable insights in team settings.

As a confident and detail-oriented professional, Colette excels in both independent and collaborative team environments. With hands-on experience in the mining industry, Colette is proficient in networking systems, as well as PLC and SCADA programming. She enjoys the challenge of optimizing systems, identifying opportunities for improvement, and providing innovative, effective solutions. Ken is a passionate, and driven, process control engineer with several years of experience in oil and gas, chemical processing plant and shipbuilding industries.

He is experienced in plant process optimization and holds a Bachelor degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering, and experience with PLC and SCADA programming, control system design, test and commissioning.

Ken is always keen to explore to different industries and believes that is how you should learn as an engineer.

Roel is a results-driven engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines, where he was actively involved in student leadership. He has over eight years of experience in the power plant industry, specializing in coal power plants. His expertise includes Power plant performance testing, along with the maintenance and troubleshooting of DCS, PLCs, turbine supervisory systems, and plant instrumentation. Before transitioning to the power plant industry, Roel spent three years in control system engineering, where he developed a strong programming background in SCADA and PLCs. He also has significant experience in the testing and commissioning of boilers, turbines, water treatment, coal handling, and ash handling systems.

Roel is deeply passionate about programming and automation, continually seeking to expand his knowledge and excel in his field.

Christine is a goal-oriented process control engineer with a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering. She has a strong enthusiasm for DCS and PLC programming and automation, supported by a solid technical background and strong analytical problem-solving skills.

With experience in the power plant industry, specializing in industrial process automation and instrumentation, Christine has demonstrated success in managing complex projects, addressing control and instrumentation challenges, and performing root cause analyses to develop effective solutions. Committed to continuous improvement, she actively seeks to expand her knowledge and skills in the ever-evolving field of control systems.
